Costco currently offers Dyson Cinetic™ Big Ball Animal + Bagless Upright Vacuum at $449.99 after $120 Mfr’s instant rebate. The deal runs thru 1/24/2016. The Cinetic Big Ball is Dyson’s latest technology announced on 2015 CES show.
With Dyson Cinetic tips oscillating at up to 5kHz, as showing on the top of following picture, it prevents microscopic dust from building up and eventually blocking the airflow. This Cinetic science efficiently separates the dust which allows the motor to run without any pre-filter. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball series are the real no loss of suction. The suction test was measured to ASTM F558.
All Dyson Ball vacuums come with the Hygienic bin emptying design. Push the red button on the handle to release the dirt.
The machine looks significantly larger than the Sharks. It weights at 19.2 lbs. I tried it, really heavy. Wait.. how are you going to handle it with the stairs? Dyson does not expecting you to move it stair by stair frequently. The instant release wand is the red part of the handle on the following picture. Just pop the cap on the top of the handle, the ready to use wand can reach 50 ft far. Thanks to the generous hose design. Now you can easily clean the stairs, up high and awkward-to-reach places.
